AfMA Launches Personal Development Series Library
Based on the value of emotional intelligence, the library “has nothing to do with cars, it’s about helping people become the best versions of themselves,” AfMA explains.

Presenting 13 courses, each about 60-minutes in length, the library was developed from AfMA’s well-received personal development webinar series.

The Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA), in partnership with Isuzu UTE, has launched an online Personal Development Series Library “designed to empower professionals at every level.”
The library “has nothing to do with cars, it’s about helping people become the best versions of themselves,” AfMA explains. The series is based on emotional intelligence (EI), the group notes, citing a survey of more than 2,600 hiring manager and HR professionals that revealed EI is a "critical characteristic" for securing a job and advancing one’s career.
The library offers 13 courses, each about 60-minutes in length. Developed from AfMA’s webinar series, each course includes "knowledge checks to facilitate a comprehensive learning experience,” according to the association. The group plans to add four more courses by year’ s end and another six in 2024.
Topics include:
Emotional intelligence
Dealing with difficult people
Saying no
Performance review preparation
Networking
Time and priorities management
Creative problem solving
Effective leadership habits
Goal setting
AfMA corporate members can access the Learning Library for free. Supplier members can access the Learning Library — valued at $60,000 according to AfMA — for an annual $2,000 fee.
After signing a license agreement, organizations can access the library’s courses. The course files (in SCORM format) can be imported into the organization’s learning management system and allocated to employees based on their individual development plans.
Additional detail about the Personal Development Library, is available on the AfMA website.
