Toyota Fleet Management (TFM) has launched a new car-share platform in Australia to help businesses manage their fleet, according to a report from the Australasian Fleet Management Association (AFMA).
Designed to monitor, organize and control a shared-vehicle fleet, ForceField Share, employs a centralized web-based scheduling, booking, and reporting system to manage shared vehicles and other assets.
The platform aims to provide fleet managers a complete overview over fleets of five to 5000 vehicles across Australia.
With ForceField Share, “Fleet managers can effectively identify and keep up to date with reassigning underutilized assets, stay on top of maintenance requirements and manage any damage and repairs” said. James Bridekirk, TFM’s head of product and strategy.
“Users can quickly make and manage their bookings using a web browser on their desktop, or through the native iOS and Android mobile apps,” he added.
