Kamanns to Address Supplier Portfolio Management at Global Fleet Conference
The fleet and supply chain veteran will offer ideas, strategies, and more at the 2022 Global Fleet Conference in June.

Kamanns
Jonathan Kamanns (associate director of Fleet & Driver Safety / HR Total Reward, Boehringer-Ingelheim USA Corp) will be presenting at the 2022 Global Fleet Management Conference (GFC), scheduled June 7-9 in Hollywood, Florida, in the greater Miami area. His session, “Supplier Portfolio Management to Optimize the Fleet Process,” will cover supplier portfolio management and the opportunities it offers amid current supply chain challenges.
“Now is a great time to expand typical supplier selections and options and to examine current and future shortcycle opportunities to offset higher acquisition costs,” says Kamanns. “It’s also a good time to better level-set internal expectations, further vehicle lifecycle conversations, and establish the correlation between eco-driving and safe driving.”
Kamanns’ session will also explore process optimization, and the risk/benefits of supplier consolidation.
Suppliers, vendors, distributors, etc., are often an extension of a fleet organization, Kamanns believes. “But they also can benchmark our own programs and processes against leading cross-industry organizations; provide joint-resource strategic initiatives for mutual growth; promote connections to thought-leaders and become partners in strategic planning.”
Presented by Bobit, publisher of Automotive Fleet, the GFC will feature renowned fleet experts and award-winning international fleet managers offering global strategies, best practices, and case studies to provide attendees a path to optimize global fleet management.
For further GFC details and information on a $100 early-bird registration offer, visit https://www.globalfleetconference.com/.
