Zenergy to Acquire Greenlight Biofuels
CHICAGO --- Zenergy International, a global biofuels provider, announced the acquisition of Texas-based biodiesel company Greenlight Biofuels.
CHICAGO --- Zenergy International, a global biofuels provider, announced the acquisition of Texas-based biodiesel company Greenlight Biofuels.
Greenlight Biofuels, based in Lubbock, Texas, has production facilities in Littlefield, Texas.
Zenergy said it expects the transaction to be completed within a few weeks.
"This is the first milestone of our acquisition model as we continue to search for idled and under-utilized facilities that would benefit from expertise in feedstock procurement and market access, allowing us to bring the operation from restart to full capacity and profitability in short order," said Robert Luiten, chairman of Zenergy International.
