The companies said the collaboration has resulted in hundreds of new charging locations, with additional sites planned. Many of the locations feature ChargePoint's Omniport technology, allowing vehicles with either NACS or CCS1 connectors to use the same charging stall.
Examples include:
- Elmwood Township, Michigan: Four charging stalls were activated near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park in a county that previously had no DC fast chargers.
- Redding, California: Sixteen NACS and CCS charging stalls were added along the Sacramento River near the Sundial Bridge.
- Winter Park, Florida: Seven NACS and CCS charging stalls were installed near Orlando-area attractions.
- Upstate New York: Multiple fast-charging sites were added along state highways connecting destinations including Lake Placid, Niagara Falls, the Finger Lakes and Cooperstown.
