YourMechanic, a mobile car repair network, announced a new fleet product that connects mobile mechanics to fleet facilities at the NAFA I&E in Tampa. Contracted mechanics can fill in during times of work backlogs and during technician shortages.

The new product lineup offers flexible service packages, including on-demand repair delivered directly to the fleet of vehicles, eliminating time and cost to transport out-of-commission vehicles. YourMechanic is also offering preventive maintenance solutions.

The company recently completed a pilot program with fleet managers and developed a full product line from the program insights. Its Fleet Labor Service provides mobile mechanics for on-site work. Its Full Mobile Service provides mobile mechanics and parts for on-site work. And finally, its Full Service Shop provides support to set up a shop and deliver mobile mechanics and parts to complete work on-site.

YourMechanic works with a network of more than 1,000 contracted mechanics in more than 30 states to deliver on-demand repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services. YourMechanic partners with national suppliers, including Castrol, and other aftermarket suppliers, ensuring mobile mechanics arrive with parts needed to complete work directly on-site.

Fleets from various sectors have participated in YourMechanic's fleet pilot program, including the City of Norfolk, Va.; Lyft; Hertz; and FoxTV DC.

“YourMechanic has helped the City of Norfolk in times of work backlog in the shops, filled the gap during technician shortages, and has flat-out helped us reduce equipment downtime. The team at YourMechanic, from headquarters to technicians, are professional, courteous, and have become engrained in our mission to deliver the best possible service to user departments and taxpayers,” said Facundo Tassara, fleet maintenance manager, City of Norfolk.

YourMechanic is available in the top 50 largest U.S. metropolitan areas. Headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., the company was founded in 2012.
