FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - North America's largest vocational truck event, The Work Truck Show, will be held in St. Louis in March 2010, in conjunction with the 46th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention. The Convention, training sessions and Green Truck Summit kick off March 9, with the Show floor opening March 10.
"The Work Truck Show 2009 was such a success. The top-notch educational and Special Sessions combined with new products from nearly 500 exhibiting companies brought out the second-largest number of attendees in event history, despite the poor economy," says Allen Birmingham, NTEA convention chairman and national sales manager of Tommy Gate Co. (Phoenix, Ariz.). "We're looking forward to building on that success with The Work Truck Show 2010 in St. Louis, a vibrant city convenient to a large number of our members, exhibitors and attendees."
The NTEA, which produces the show each year, has announced the following dates and locations for The Work Truck Show 2010 and 2011:
The Work Truck Show 2010 and the 46th Annual NTEA Convention, March 10-12, 2010 (Convention runs March 9-12) at America's Center (St. Louis).
The Work Truck Show 2011 and the 47th Annual NTEA Convention, March 8-10, 2009 (Convention runs March 7-10) at the Indiana Convention Center (Indianapolis).
The Work Truck Show brings together thousands of industry professionals including vocational, municipal and private truck fleet managers and truck buyers from the Class 1-8 market as well as hundreds of the manufacturers, distributors and dealers that produce the trucks and equipment critical to their work.
These few days each year provide attendees the unique opportunity to check out the latest full-size work trucks and equipment while examining individual vehicle components offered by hundreds of exhibitors. The event also features topnotch industry-specific technical and business management training sessions.
