Wheels, Inc. has appointed Sandra Wilson as the company's chief operating officer overseeing the fleet management company's North American operations.

Wheels, Inc. has appointed Sandra Wilson as the company's chief operating officer overseeing the fleet management company's North American operations.
Wilson, who started with the company Nov. 18, will be responsible for vehicle acquisitions, remarketing, compliance services, and truck engineering. She will also oversee Wheels' call centers, human resources group, and quality control department.
Wilson is expected to "bring new levels of creativity and versatility to Wheels' leadership team," said Dan Frank, president of Wheels Services and chief technology officer.
Wilson brings more than 30 years of experience in operational leadership, performance management and team development. She most recently served as president and CEO of Chicago Metallic Corp., a global supplier of commercial ceiling products. She previously spent 13 years at Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 equipment and systems manufacturer, where she rose to the role of vice president of strategic planning.
She holds several patents and is trained to teach various lean manufacturing and operating management programs.
Wilson graduated from Northwestern University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Economics, and earned her master's of business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
