DES PLAINES, IL – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet leasing industry, was recently named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces for 2011. Wheels ranked 14th overall in the midsize company segment.
The Tribune’s annual Top Workplaces feature recognizes businesses throughout the Chicagoland area that demonstrate the highest employee satisfaction rates. Listed companies are selected based on the results of an independently-generated survey completed by their employees. The survey questions seek employee feedback on a variety of aspects of their workplace experience, including company direction, business execution, career mobility, manager approval rating, workplace conditions and benefits.
“Part of what makes Wheels such a great place to work is that our employees feel confident that they each have a voice within the company,” said Joan Richards, vice president of Human Resources at Wheels. “We are especially proud of this award because it comes directly from our employees’ feedback, which we value and celebrate. Through our own employee surveys and focus groups, Wheels continues to engage employees and implement improvements that aid in their success.”
This is the second major workplace satisfaction award Wheels has received this year. In June, the company was named as one of Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in Information Technology.
