DES PLAINES, IL – Wheels Inc. And its global partner ALD Automotive have formed a strategic partnership with Australian based company FleetPartners.
The alliance with FleetPartners provides Wheels with crucial local support for its large international clients with operations in the emerging Asia-Pacific region.
FleetPartners has more than 60,000 vehicles under management in Australia and New Zealand and the partnership with ALD and Wheels will take the combined fleet to 1.3 million vehicles in 43 countries.*
Wheels and ALD entered a strategic partnership in 2009 to offer comprehensive global fleet management creating the industry’s farthest-reaching fleet management solution.
Australia and New Zealand are important markets for many of Wheels’ and ALD Automotive’s largest clients. Bill Robinson, VP of International for Wheels commented, “There is a robust and sophisticated fleet market in that part of the world and our clients have asked us to provide them with a quality solution there. We found the right fit with FleetPartners and we are confident that we are now able to offer the best possible service to our clients who have operations there.”
The aim is to provide them with the most comprehensive solution possible; the focus on quality and customer service at FleetPartners is a strong match for existing client relationships.
This new alliance will allow the combined group to tackle opportunities as one, providing clients with greater control and visibility over their fleet, cost management benefits and the value-add of local expertise.
