Volkswagen Offers Operational Leasing and Fleet Management to Brazil
Banco Volkswagen do Brasil’s is offering a new Operational Leasing and Fleet Management (OLFM) product to the Brazilian market.
Banco Volkswagen do Brasil’s is offering a new Operational Leasing and Fleet Management (OLFM) product to the Brazilian market. The company chose The White Clarke Group, which has a global fleet-leasing project track record and experience in the Brazilian marketplace, to aid in the implementation of the product.
“The Latin American region is a huge market, with more than 3.5 million new-vehicle sales each year. White Clarke Group has successfully designed and developed the new turnkey OLFM Contract Management System for this sophisticated and fast-growing market,” said Michael Ferreira, Head of Fleet Management and Corporate Services VW FS Brazil.
According to the Clarke Group, the project took 18 months, which allowed Banco Volkswagen do Brasil to start providing the leasing product to its fleet customers in June 2013.
Ferreira added, “Operational Leasing and Fleet Management is a new financial concept for OEMs in the Brazilian automotive finance market. Banco Volkswagen is the first automotive company in the Brazilian market to launch Operational Leasing fully integrated with Fleet Management Products and Services.”
