Vietnamese electric vehicle automaker VinFast has partnered with LeasePlan to provide operational leasing, fleet management, and remarketing to corporate and individual customers in Germany, France, and the Netherlands, according to the Vietnam Plus news service.
A memorandum of understanding between the two companies was announced at the Mobile World Congress currently underway in Barcelona, Spain.
The collaboration allows VinFast to further its presence in major global markets. The company offers a three-EV-model portfolio with more in development, as well as a series of electric scooters. Established in 2017, the company is the automotive manufacturing subsidiary of VinGroup, a Vietnamese conglomerate.
