A United Kingdom-based fleet accident management provider has named a non-executive chairman to the company who will offer guidance on its strategic direction

Activate Group Ltd (AGL) appointed Paul Pancham, strategic development director at Tesco Underwriting Ltd to the new role, who will also continue to provide industry expertise, an impartial perspective, and constructive challenge to the company, according to the company. AGL, which was founded in 2015, specializes in accident management services and partners with fleet providers and insurers to service thousands of claims a year.

"He is a specialist in integrated supply chain solutions and has held responsibility for multi-billion-pound insurance claims spend in both personal and commercial lines," said Mark Wilcox, founder of AGL.

Previously, Pancham became a non-executive director at AGL in 2017. He now joins other AGL executives on its board of directors.
