The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) has named Santos Flores as the TRALA 2001 National Driver of the Year. Flores, a professional driver for the Oneta Co., DBA Pepsi Co. of Corpus Christi, TX, was honored for 42 years and 4.7 million miles of accident- and ticket-free driving. Flores, named Oneta Pepsi Employee of the Year 21 times, has also been cited four times for heroically rescuing traffic accident victims, drowning children, and stranded motorists.
