Toyota is shifting production of the 2018 Camry for the Australian market to Japan, which will replace the locally-made Camry.
Toyota, which has been building cars in Australia since 1963, will be the last of the local manufacturers to close its doors, according to the automaker.

Toyota Australia anticipates sales of the new car would decline – partly because of the loss of some fleet and Government sales as the buy-Australian policies come to an end, and partly from declining interest in mid-sized cars.
