Toyota Ghana has unveiled a new Hino truck for the Ghanian market.
The Managing Director of Toyota Ghana Company Limited (TGCL), Takahiko Tabayashi stated that the company is poised to provide quality, durable and reliable trucks to meet the demands of Ghanaian business owners, according to a report by citifmonline.com.
He made this statement at the official launch of the HINO Trucks in Ghana at the company’s Tema branch. Tabayashi noted that “the purchase of a truck is not for pleasure ride but for business operations, this brings to mind the fact that in the consideration of truck purchase, durability should be the guiding principle, operational downtime which brings unplanned cost to truck owners should also be an issue that cannot be compromised.’’
The new HINO 300 series is equipped with a powerful engine to overcome the stress of road conditions in Ghana; the truck has flexibility of use and is designed to provide a comfortable ride. Hino engineers focused on the safety of both passengers and pedestrians during the design and manufacture of the truck, according to the citifmonline report.
