Consolidation among the fleet management companies continued in 2015, as Element Financial Corp. acquired GE Capital's fleet business a year after purchasing PHH Arval. The merger drove ongoing news coverage as well as reader interest in two in-depth Q&As with Kristi Webb, the former GE Capital Fleet Services CEO who was later appointed as CEO for Element Fleet Management.
Webb spoke with Automotive Fleet in both roles, first in May, and then in October. In the first, she explained the decision behind the sale and in the second she discussed the integration strategy.
