The true fleet market in Switzerland declined by 37% in April due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite reporting declines, several brands managed to achieve a three-digit number of company fleet registrations. The most popular brands were BMW (which was still down 42.5%), followed by Volkswagen and Skoda (both were also down 59.2%).
The negative developments were also widely visible at model level.
Registrations of light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons also fell significantly in April and were down 43.3 % on the same month last year. Meanwhile, the private market saw a 67.7% decline.
