Registrations of commercial fleets in Sweden for the month of May fell more than 50%, as did the overall passenger car market, Dataforce found.

The commercial vehicle market fleet contracted 51.1% in May, compared to the same time last year, and by 40.9%, year-to-date, according to Dataforce. Meanwhile the passenger car market declined 50.2% in May, year-over-year.

Despite this, the best-selling commercial vehicles in the country were the Volkswagen Caddy, which also a top performer in Croatia, the Volkswagen Transporter, and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Overall, the top ranked commercial vehicle brands were Volkswagen, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz.
