SsangYong Motor Company is launching its Tivoli compact SUV to join a competitive automotive segment. The Tivoli is the first vehicle SsangYong Motor Company has produced since Mahindra & Mahindra took over four years ago.
The compact SUV has a 1.6L four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 124 hp and 116 ft.-lb. of torque. The Tivoli will also offer an optional diesel engine, but the company has yet to release details on this version.

Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The vehicle comes standard with Ssangyong’s Smart Steer system, which offers three steering weightings: Normal, Comfort, and Sport.
The Tivoli features LED daytime running lights, 16-inch to 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, auto headlights and wipers, smart key entry, dual-zone climate control, and a 7-inch infotainment display.
The compact SUV has been under development for the past three years under the project name of X100.
