Shyft Group Recalls 5,000 Utilimaster Metris Vans

Shyft Group is recalling certain 2020 model-year Utilimaster Metris fleet vehicles due to incorrect tire and loading information on the labels.

Shyft Group is recalling certain 2020 model-year Utilimaster Metris fleet vehicles. The payload capacity shown on the Tire and Loading Information label may be higher than the actual payload capacity of the vehicle.

Shyft Group will notify owners and will inspect the vehicles and if the payload values are incorrect, the label will be replaced, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin in September 2020. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 20-06.

Owners can contact Shyft Group customer service at 1-800-582-3454. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at (888) 327-4236.
