Renault inaugurated a new production line for its redesigned Trafic cargo van, and announced it will build a version of it for Fiat on the line starting in the second quarter of 2016.
Renault will produce the vehicles at its assembly plant in Sandouville, France. Renault will produce 100,000 annual units of a van based on the Trafic for Fiat-Chrysler, which will develop the styling for the light-commercial vehicle. The van will be branded as a Fiat Professional vehicle.
