Tire manufacturer Pirelli will indefinitely suspend production of tires in Venezuela due to issues related to securing supplies of raw materials.
Venezuela is amidst a severe economic crisis and Pirelli is the latest major international corporation to suspend manufacturing operations there, according to the BBC.

Pirelli will cease production at its Guacara plant after 26 years in business in Venezuela, according to just-auto.com.
GM recently closed down operations in Venezuela after the Venezuelan government authorities took control of the OEM’s Valencia plant on April 19.
Pirelli also said it would do everything in its power to continue supplying the country with tires, according to the BBC.
