SPARKS, MD - PHH Arval announced that Rob Stowers has been named Senior Vice President, PHH FirstFleet, the truck and equipment leasing division of PHH Arval, effective immediately. Stowers will assume responsibility for the management of PHH FirstFleet. In his role, Stowers will report to George Kilroy, President and CEO of PHH Arval.

Stowers joins PHH Arval from Altec Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Altec, where he was Managing Director of the equipment financing business. Prior to joining Altec, Stowers was with NationsBanc Leasing Corporation as Senior Vice President, responsible for the Utility and Large Fleet Leasing organization, a $6 billion asset based leasing company.  He returns to PHH Arval, where he had previously spent twelve years with the company.

“Rob’s extensive background in truck leasing and business management will be invaluable to PHH Arval as we pursue opportunities to grow our truck and equipment leasing business,” said Kilroy. “I am confident that his leadership experience, customer-focused approach and knowledge of the truck marketplace are ideal complements to our existing management team, and he will play an important role in establishing a world-class truck leasing and services organization.”

Stowers holds a pre-law, political science degree from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Georgia System-Columbus State University. He also served four years of commissioned service in the United States Army and separated from the Army as a Captain in the Adjutant General Corp.

PHH FirstFleet, the truck and equipment leasing division of PHH Arval, combines financial strength, technical engineering expertise and a consultative approach to customer service to deliver measurable value in asset effectiveness, cost management and driver productivity. PHH FirstFleet is located in the Lakeside Office Center, 600 North Pine Island Road, Suite 260, Plantation, FL 33324.
