Some of the latest personnel moves from across the commercial fleet industry include new VP appointments, and more.

Multiple companies and brands have recently announced personnel changes in the commercial fleet world. Automotive Fleet has an October roundup of these promotions and recognition, including:

Matt Schweickert Appointed New FinditParts CEO as David Seewack Transitions to Chairman of the Board

Schweickert is a seasoned executive and eCommerce strategist with a history of leading technology and strategy transformation.

Bringing over 25 years of leadership in scaling data-driven business solutions across retail and technology solutions, Matt Schweickert steps into his role as the new CEO. 

The promotions were unanimously approved by the FinditParts Board of Directors in recognition of both executives’ contributions to the company’s success,” Board member Will Palmer said. “Matt has shown himself to be an exceptional leader and David’s natural successor.”

Schweickert previously held several senior executive roles at The Home Depot, including Chief Strategy Officer, Functional CFO for Technology, and Chief Product and User Experience Officer.

In those roles, he helped grow overall revenue from $83 billion in 2014 to $132 billion in 2020. His leadership also led to partnerships at The Home Depot that drove more than $10 billion in acquisitions.

Since joining FinditParts, Schweickert has played a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency, refining product and pricing strategies, and enhancing customer experience.

David Seewack takes on a new leadership position.

As he settles into his new leadership role, FinditParts’ founder, David Seewack, transitions into his new role as Chairman of the Board.

“I had a vision of building a marketplace where our customers can purchase any OEM and aftermarket parts with ease and deliver with excellence,” Seewack said. “We built the most robust supply chain in the industry, with over $8 billion in available inventory. These leadership changes position us to accelerate innovation and execution, strengthen our market position, and deliver unmatched value to our customers and partners.”

Seewack founded FinditParts in 2010, aiming to revolutionize the online buying and selling of heavy-duty truck parts. His leadership has solidified him in the industry, earning the company a top spot as a trusted marketplace for parts. 

Seewack will continue to guide the company’s vision and strategy as Chairman. 

Fleet Advantage Promotes Don Davis 

His ability to balance daily operational needs with broader objectives makes him a powerful advocate for organizations with transportation fleets.

Fleet Advantage has promoted Don Davis to Executive Vice President of National Accounts.

“Don has been an extraordinary contributor to Fleet Advantage, consistently delivering results that drive measurable company and client success,” said Brian Holland, President and CEO of Fleet Advantage. “We could not think of anyone more qualified to be in this role than Don. His strategic vision, client-first approach, and leadership are helping shape the future of fleet management.” 

Joining the company in 2019, Davis has made significant contributions to the overall growth and leadership of Fleet Advantage within the industry. He has consistently delivered results for private fleets, including some of the largest national retailers. 

Davis has consistently proven himself by earning Top Salesman every year.

In his previous role as Senior Vice President of National Accounts, he managed top-tier client relationships, helping private fleets reduce costs, improve safety, and modernize operations. His implementations generated savings equal to 25% of the client's monthly lease obligations. 

Davis will continue to provide guidance to Fleet Advantage while promoting initiatives and expanding company relationships in his new role.
