CalAmp Appoints Chris Adams as President/CEO
CalAmp announced that Chris Adams will be joining the company as president and CEO, effective Jan. 22.
Adams brings general management experience from a range of technology companies – most recently as VP/GM of the Automotive Sensing Division at onsemi.
“After a comprehensive search process, we are pleased to welcome Chris as CalAmp’s new President and CEO. His deep experience in semiconductor, hardware, and software solutions across several market segments – most recently in the automotive segment – makes him an excellent choice to lead CalAmp through the next phase of its transformation. We have great confidence in his ability to drive the company to create greater value for customers and investors,” said Henry Maier, chairman of the Board at CalAmp.
J. J. Keller Announces VP of Software Engineering, Board Chairman Retires
J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. announced that Ken Sherman has joined the company as vice president of software engineering for its Technology Solutions division.
He will lead a team of more than 130 development and quality assurance professionals in the technical design and development of J. J. Keller’s software solutions and connected devices line.
“We’re excited to add Ken to this growing team as we continue to expand our technology footprint,” said Lacie Callan, executive vice president of Technology Solutions for J. J. Keller. “Technology solutions are increasingly used by our clients to keep workers safe and ensure respectful workplaces. These solutions are critical to our purpose as a company.”
Sherman has experience leading and building software engineering teams, with technical experience spanning cloud-based software platforms, mobile, video, AI, and telematics.
Additionally, the company announced that Robert L. Keller has retired as chairman of the board of directors, becoming chairman emeritus.
James J. Keller, currently treasurer and vice chairman of the board, became chairman.
Brothers Robert Keller and James Keller – the second generation of the Keller family to have led the family-owned company – both played roles in evolving the company that their father, John J. Keller, founded in 1953.
RTA: The Fleet Success Company Names New Fleet Success Ambassador
RTA: The Fleet Success Company announced that Facundo Tassara has joined the company as a fleet success ambassador.
Tassara’s previous experience includes stops at Revvo as the head of customer success and fleet director for the city of Norfolk, Virginia.
He was featured in Government Fleet magazine’s “20 Under 40: Fleet's Future Leaders” list in 2016.
