Navistar Recalls Commercial Trucks for Fuel Heater Issues
Navistar, Inc. is recalling approximately 27,421 model-year 2017-2020 International trucks due to an electric fuel heater malfunction.

The International HV with Cummins B6.7 diesel engines was among the units recalled for fuel heater issues.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling approximately 27,421 model-year 2017-2020 International WorkStar and International DuraStar, 2018-2019 IC 1300 FBC Commercial and IC HC Commercial, 2018-2021 IC CE Commercial, International MV and International HV with Cummins B6.7 diesel engines with a fuel module option number FS90301 or FS90453.
The electric fuel heater within the fuel module may overheat and cause plastic in the fuel heater to melt and potentially catch fire. It may also lead to engine stalling.
The recall also includes 2019-2021 model-year IC TC Commercial buses.
The remedy for this recall is still under development. Cummins will notify the affected Navistar customers. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
