Motorlease Corp. has promoted Justin Mesick to controller and Jeffrey Perkins to general manager of fleet operations, the Farmington, Conn.,-based firm has announced.
Mesick and Perkins have also been awarded the 2015 Daniel A. Leary award in appreciation of their "significant contribution to the success of the company," according to a release.
Perkins joined Motorlease in 2002 in an administrative capacity, and was promoted to leadership positions in the customer service department and dealer relationship management area. In 2005, he was tapped to lead Motorlease's purchasing and remarketing efforts.
In his current role, his team developed a process to factory-order vehicles, purchase vehicles out of stock, remarket off-lease vehicles, as well as sell upstream. As a result, he increased net profits from used vehicle sales by more than 200 percent from 2010 to 2014.

Mesik
Mesick joined Motorlease in 2000 as a part-time employee handling administrative and accounting functions. Most recently, he served as accounting manager overseeing the accounting and administrative department.
Mesick has spearheaded several Kaizen-based process improvement initiatives, including the automation of many internal and external procedures, and the implementation of paperless tax processing.
