Jessica Bruning, a regional sales manger with Merchants Fleet, has been elected as a director of the National Association of Women in Construction for the Greater Orlando chapter, the fleet management company has announced.
The association seeks to enhance the success of women in the construction industry by providing education, networking, leadership training, public service, and other opportunities for professional development. Bruning has been involved with the group since 2016.
"I ran for a director position because I value NAWIC and the women that are involved in the association," said Bruning. "I am honored to be selected as a director, and I'm excited for the opportunity to elevate our current and future members so they can impact the construction industry."
Bruning is a regional sales manager with Merchants Fleet that's responsible for Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Prior to joining Merchants, she was assistant vice president at The Bancorp. She has also been an account manager at Enterprise Fleet Management. Earlier in her career, Bruning was director of admissions at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas.
