Merchants Leasing Promotes Glen Villano to Chief Executive Officer
Appointed as CEO, Glen plans to continue best-in-class operational excellence by building a strong management team and technological advancements to benefit employees and most importantly, Merchants' valued clients.
Merchants Leasing is pleased to announce that Glen Villano has been promoted from Chief Operations Officer to Chief Executive Officer.
Villano graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned his Masters in Business Administration degree from Northwestern University. He is a CPA and started his career as a Public Accountant followed by increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing and finance with McGraw Edison, Citicorp and Transamerica Finance.
He spent 10 years with Harley-Davidson Financial Services gathering broad experience internationally and in the US in strategy, sales, marketing, operations, quality and finance. As COO, he led the project that established Harley-Davidson’s Eaglemark Bank and he played a key leadership role in the company’s rapid and profitable growth.
During his tenure as COO at Merchants since 2008, Glen worked with senior leadership to establish and develop a multi-million dollar enterprise management system to sustain business operations. As a result, the company experienced dramatic net income and vehicle unit count growth.
Appointed as CEO, Glen plans to continue best-in-class operational excellence by building a strong management team and technological advancements to benefit employees and most importantly, Merchants' valued clients.
