AUSTIN, TX - Robert McKie has been named chief operating officer (COO) of Innovative Funding Services (IFS), a financing company for lessors and fleet management companies.
"We needed an industry expert to guide our next phase of development and expand our lender relationships," said Tim Janssen, president of IFS said. "Robert's 18-year track record in the financial services and consumer lending area makes him the perfect candidate to lead our team to new heights over the coming years."
Prior to this new role, McKie most recently served as vice president of sales at Wells Fargo Financial in Eden Prairie, Minn., where he led five teams of sales professionals throughout the United States. Under his tenure they expanded market share, and grew ROA and Equity in 2008, a year that saw many companies reducing their work force. His leadership, training, and customer focused attitude was truly instrumental to the success of this Well Fargo division.
"By continuing our focus and expanding our network of lenders, we will be able to provide a broader range of services for all of our clients," said McKie. "I strongly feel that 2010 will certainly be an exciting year for IFS."
McKie holds a B.S. in Marketing/Organizational Management. He and his family will be relocating to Austin, Texas, and they are planning to continue their community activities and involvement with organizations like United Way and Habitat for Humanity.
