Manheim Auctions recently held the inaugural heavy-duty truck sale at its Fort Worth Vehicle Auction. More than 100 trucks were sold at the event on February 28, 2001, a sale that marked the beginning of an expanding program of such sales.

The facility is equipped to handle heavy-duty truck sales, with two of the six lanes built large enough to accommodate heavy trucks, and plans are to hold sales monthly.Manheim Auctions is establishing additional heavy-duty truck auction locations in Orlando and Las Vegas, for a total of four truck sale programs by the middle of 2001.
