ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - LeasePlan USA, a leading fleet and vehicle management company, has been named one of "Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the fourth consecutive year.
The awards were established to honor those companies that recognize employees as their greatest asset. According to the NABR, these are companies that work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management.
LeasePlan attained this designation because of its commitment to employees and expertise in human resource management. Introducing the new employee values program, increasing involvement in community service and a growing focus on the development as well as the health and wellness of employees are among the many initiatives that set LeasePlan apart.
"I am extremely proud of our LeasePlan team for this well-deserved recognition. They are truly 'engaged' and passionate about LeasePlan. They believe in the company values and would recommend LeasePlan to friends and family as a great place to work," said Michael Pitcher, president and CEO.
The company was chosen based on anonymous and random employee surveys and data collected by an independent market research firm. Members of the LeasePlan staff will attend an awards banquet on Aug. 2, 2010, where they will be eligible for further distinction in one of 11 elite categories.
LeasePlan USA, a subsidiary of LeasePlan Corp. N.V., is a global leader in vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions. The company, which manages 1.3 million vehicles worldwide, offers clients customized plans for total fleet cost reduction through its technologically advanced products and dedication to customer service.
