ALPHARETTA, GA - LeasePlan USA, a leading fleet and vehicle management company, is proud to announce that account managers, Laura Mauter and Sheila Curtin, recently received the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation.
On April 26, Mauter and Curtin were recognized during a special recognition breakfast at this year's NAFA Institute & Expo for obtaining their CAFM.
Each of the new graduates was presented with their certificate by NAFA President, Chris Amos, and Vice President, Katherine Vigneau.
This self-study program requires personal and professional commitment from every participant. It consists of eight modules covering all aspects of managing a fleet, ranging from risk management to vehicle fuel management.

Participants are required to pass eight individual, objective exams to earn the CAFM designation.
"I am extremely proud of Laura and Sheila for the hard work and commitment they've demonstrated toward their own professional development. LeasePlan is passionate about continuing education and certification for all employees and encourages involvement in the CAFM program. This certification is another way our account managers are arming themselves with the expertise needed to support our clients," said Jon J. Toups, senior vice president, chief sales & marketing officer.
Because LeasePlan promotes participation in the CAFM program, there are several more LeasePlan account managers in the process of completing the program.
