WASHINGTON - Labrie Environmental Group is recalling 27 MY 2008 and 2009 Expert T, Automizer and Automizer 2010 garbage and recycling trucks because of a seatbelt problem.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the female portion of the seatbelt can be damaged by the armrest, which is also a joystick bracket. If the female portion of the seatbelt suffers damage, the seatbelt may not function properly in the event of a crash.
Labrie will notify truck owners of the recall, and dealers will replace any damaged seatbelt and install a deflector to prevent possible damage in the future. The repairs will be performed free of charge.
The recall is set for this month. Truck owners can reach Labrie at (877) 452-2743.
