DELRAY BEACH, FL- Gary Ward, fleet sales representative and 11-year employee of Fleet Lease Disposal (FLD), passed away Aug. 17. He was 59.
Ward acquired numerous federal certifications for courses related to his work in the offshore oil business and for the Department of Commerce before joining FLD.

He grew up in Germany and Turkey, where his family was stationed in the Army. Later, Ward moved to Lake Worth, Fla., to finish his high school education, and then attended Palm Beach Junior College and received an AA degree in political science. He was a car enthusiast and loved all things avionic.
Ward is survived by his mother, sister, and niece and nephew. A memorial service was held in Delray Beach on Aug. 21.
