The 2020 Sonata will retail for at least $24,330, which includes a $930 delivery fee. The Sonata will be available in SE, SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited trim grades.
Hyundai's midsize sedan is adding an array of features, especially on the base model, including an updated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that adds 6 horsepower; improved combined fuel efficiency of 32 mpg (up from 29 mpg); larger 8-inch LCD media screen; and the SmartSense safety bundle that includes automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, a drowsy driver warning, and adaptive cruise control.
The 2020 Venue arrives to compete with a proliferation of subcompact SUVs such as the Ford EcoSport, Chevrolet Trax, Toyota C-HR, Mazda CX-3, Nissan Rogue Sport, and Subaru Crosstrek.
Hyundai will offer its Venue in three trim grades, including SE, SEL, and Denim. The entry SE model includes a six-speed manual transmission and will retail for $18,345, including an $1,095 delivery fee. Upgrading to the continuously variable transmission adds $1,200.
