Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental will launch operations in Qatar as part of a joint venture between Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., Dayim Holdings and Phoenix Project Development WLL of the Al-Attiyah Motors & Trading Group.
Following a successful four-year partnership providing equipment rental in Saudi Arabia, Hertz Dayim will now rent and sell equipment and tools to construction and industrial markets in Qatar.
Hertz Dayim’s services are designed for projects such as stadium building, metros, ports, rail, roads, drainage systems, expressways, and petrochemical projects. It offers earthmoving, aerial, material handling, power generation and electrical equipment, air compressors and more. The company also offers fleet management services and safe operation equipment training to its clients.
Hertz Dayim plans to open its first Qatar location in Doha, which is expected to attract huge spending in construction and infrastructure to support its staging of the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Qatar announced earlier this year it plans to invest $182 billion on public projects during the next five years to prepare for the massive international event.
Phoenix Project Development will provide Hertz Dayim with a variety of services to help grow the business, including contacts with local and international companies and corporations to help provide a sound base for operating in Qatar.
