A San Diego traffic court commissioners dismissed a citation given to a Temecula woman for wearing Google Glass while driving, reports U-T San Diego.
Commissioner John Blair ruled that there wasn't enough proof that Cecilia Abadie was operating the digital glasses while operating her vehicle. Her speeding ticket issued by a California Highway Patrol officer was also dismissed.
The case, which is believed to be the first of its kind, ignited a debate about whether Google Glass users could be considered distracted drivers.
Hyundai has integrated Google Glass with its 2015 Genesis sedan with an app that allows Google Glass users to connect the device with the vehicle's Blue Link infotainment system.
