General Motors has elevated a Chevrolet-GMC truck pricing executive to director of commercial product at GM Fleet & Commercial in a move effective April 1.
John Schwegman leaves his role as the executive over U.S. product and pricing for Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks as well as the Corvette brand. Schwegman replaces Joyce Mattman, who moves into her new role as global director of GM customer experience improvement and integration.

"John's vast product knowledge will be an incredible asset to the organization, and our customers, as he takes on his new leadership role within GM Fleet & Commercial," said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president of GM Fleet and Commercial.
Schwegman has held various positions at GM since beginning his career at Saturn in 1988, including district sales manager, district service manager, Silverado assistant brand manager, Chevrolet marketing manager, group product manager for full-size and mid-size trucks, and executive director of product marketing for Buick and GMC.
