DETROIT - General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations appointed 24 fleet professionals in the field to focus on helping state, city, and municipal customers meet their fleet needs with Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles.
This new role, district sales manager - commercial and government, will enable greater focus and bring expertise and counsel to dealers from both the commercial perspective and the state and local government perspective, according to GM.
"Our district sales managers will provide support to our state and local government customers and the GM dealers who work hard to earn their business," said Jim Campbell, general manager of General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations. "We have grown our state and local government team from seven account managers to 24 commercial and government district sales managers. We firmly believe these changes will help us provide better support for our customers."

GM also appointed several new fleet account executives to its fleet team.
Paul Wiest (shown left) was appointed as the GM fleet account executive covering Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Raymond Anrecio (shown right) will cover Miami, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, as well helping companies that have fleet needs in Latin America.
In addition, Campbell announced several other transitions in the fleet account team. "A few treasured commercial sales team members that our customers have come to value over the years have recently retired. We will miss Charles Harkless, Sarah Jensen, and Ernie Albers," said Campbell. "We have selected new team members that I am confident our customers will enjoy getting to know and do business with in the years to come. D.J. Walls, Mike Comparoni, and Scott Conway are welcome additions to the team."
