Vehicle connectivity is among the hottest topics facing today’s fleets and their stakeholders. Ericsson has already taken the first steps in this direction with a pilot program being conducted by its fleets in the Netherlands and Belgium.

In his thought-provoking opening keynote address for the 2015 Global Fleet Conference, Chris Tinajero, global category manager for Ericsson Inc., will explore the ins and outs of vehicle connectivity in the context of the company’s pilot program. Tinajero will provide an overview of the lessons learned about the fleet ramifications in the context of an emerging networked society where everything—including vehicles—will be connected via the Internet, and explain how vehicle connectivity can position global fleet operations to leverage this emerging connectedness.
