Geotab Named Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year
Geotab has been named a 2018 North American Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan. The award recognizes Geotab, which is based in the Toronto suburb of Oakville, Ontario, as a telematics leader.
Geotab has been named a 2018 North American Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan, the telematics provider has announced.
The award recognizes Geotab, which is based in the Toronto suburb of Oakville, Ontario, as a telematics leader. Frost & Sullivan cited Geotab's focus on technology as well as its competitive hardware and service pricing as factors to Geotab's success. In March, Geotab was named as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.
Geotab will also hire nearly 100 new positions in engineering support, embedded systems development, software development, sales and account management, administration, and operations, the company announced Aug. 1.
This year, Geotab surpassed 1 million subscribers and manages connected devices on seven continents. The company acquired Fleet Carma and launched new products such as its Data.geotab.com website and Privacy Mode feature. The company has launched InsideGeotab, a job-search resource for potential candidates in Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
