Global fleet management solutions provider Ford Pro has launched new tool to help small business owners move into the digital age. Ford Pro Fleet Management Software provides an always-on, user-friendly program to digitize full fleet vehicle reports and track total cost of ownership in real-time.
Available to businesses with 50 vehicles or fewer—almost half the fleet industry—this latest addition to the Ford Pro Intelligence suite of fleet management products is offered as an à la carte solution or custom bundle on a subscription basis, starting at $5 per month per vehicle.
Built on Fleetio software, the cloud-based system fully digitizes cost-related data to easily calculate total cost of ownership figures. Compatible with Ford and non-Ford vehicles, the system works with “unlimited fuel payment cards, features flexible maintenance program options and offers seamless integration into the broader suite of Ford Pro fleet solutions,” according to the company description.
“Small and medium businesses told us they need a suite of tools ranging from driver and vehicle tracking to title and registration to vehicle health and maintenance monitoring but simplified—all on one platform, so that’s why we developed Ford Pro fleet management solutions,” said Dave Prusinski, Ford Pro global chief revenue officer.
“Total cost of ownership is the most crucial piece of fleet-related data to business owners, and Ford Pro has invested significantly to scale software products typically reserved for large fleets, making them accessible to small and medium-sized businesses, completely flexible for their needs and budgets,” Prusinki added.
The new software suite includes three primary components.
Ford Pro Fleet Management Software monitors and tracks important data such as fuel costs on vehicles of any make, gas or electric models; automates maintenance and repair tracking; and optimizes vehicle cycle management.
Ford Pro Title and Registration streamlines vehicle registration and licensing management and helps business owners manage vehicle title-related issues, such as transfer from state to state.
Ford Pro Driver Risk Management tracks crucial fleet driver information, including comprehensive Motor Vehicle Record checks and monitoring, license expiration dates and violation points.
The web-based system can be used by individual drivers in a mobile app format and integrates with other Ford Pro software such as Ford Pro Telematics, which tracks driver habits, real-time vehicle location and downtime.
Available add-ons to the base Ford Pro Fleet Management Software product include an equipment tracker and a Garage Management System to help manage parts and inventory.
