Over 50 million vehicles in the United States have unrepaired safety recalls, according to the National Safety Council. While some do not affect fleet vehicles, many safety recalls do impact fleets. Fleet operators need to stay current with newly issued recalls and make necessary repairs to ensure their drivers are safe on the highways and byways.
Recently, Ford Motor Company recalled approximately 277,000 of the 2017-2020 F-250, 350 and 450 pickup trucks and 2017-2020 Lincoln Continentals for a camera issue. Specifically, the rear-view camera lens can get cloudy and reduce visibility for the driver, reports the Associated Press.
