FleetAfrica has signed a new deal to both adopt and distribute Chevin’s FleetWave fleet management software in South Africa and other key markets across the continent.
The company is a provider of fleet management and outsourcing for both the private and public sector markets in South Africa. It is part of part of Super Group: a transport logistics and mobility group providing end-to-end supply chain solutions, fleet management, and dealership services to a diversified global customer base. Super Group comprises supply chain and "mobility" businesses focused on offering a comprehensive range of services, according to FleetAfrica.
Initially, FleetWave will be adopted by FleetAfrica to replace an in-house legacy system that no longer meets modern IT needs, before being offered to the general market including the company’s 120 strong customer base, according to FleetAfrica.
FleetWave is used to manage fleets across the world with a combined vehicle total of more than 850,000, according to Chevin. Customers include St Gobain Transport, Bristol City Council, Honda Motor Europe and Marie Stopes International.
