Smart logistics Management is one of the main segments within the Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC)’s Masarak solution. Masarak is a comprehensive open intelligent platform and an integrated suite of intelligent transport, logistics management, and road safety services and applications fully developed in Qatar and optimized for serving the needs of different sectors in Qatar and the region.

QMIC said is currently focusing on creating and delivering solutions and services that will allow enterprises and organizations to better manage their operations, making it safer, increase productivity, improve utilization and efficiencies of fleets, reduce cost, enhance time management and equip enterprises with effective tools to monitor drivers’ behavior and performance level.

Two main services within Logistics are iFleet (Intelligent Fleet Management) and iDispatch (Intelligent Dispatching System). The iFleet and iDispatch applications have new enhanced versions that were developed and released during the year, according to QMIC.

iFleet is an application that helps organizations manage fleets in real-time, while increasing efficiency and improving safety. iDispatch is an intelligent dispatching system that provides booking and dispatching through multiple means like call-ins, web portal, and mobile apps. iDispatch recently won a prestigious international award for Information Technology at the International Public Transport and Mobility Congress, in Geneva, according to QMIC.
