The Vauxhall Luton Plant, now part of the Stellantis Group, has just seen the first Fiat Professional Scudo van roll out of the factory. The facility is now responsible for producing the Stellantis range of medium panel vans which includes the Vauxhall Vivaro, Opel Vivaro, Citroën Dispatch, Citroën Jumpy, and Peugeot Expert.
Fiat says it has maintained strong order books for the Scudo since its 2021 launch, and the additional Luton manufacture will help meet its growing order books. It is only the second time that Fiat has built vehicles in the UK, since it assembled the Topolino 500 back in the thirties in its Wembley factory in west London.
