FCA Pulls Dodge, Chrysler Models From South Africa
FCA South Africa will no longer sell Dodge and Chrysler vehicles in South Africa due to the lack of right-hand-drive support for the nameplates.

FCA South Africa will no longer sell Dodge and Chrysler vehicles in South Africa due to the lack of right-hand-drive support for the nameplates.
The automaker will continue its commitment to its other brands in the region, according to BusinessTech. Despite the exit, FCA will continue to service existing Chrysler and Dodge vehicle through franchise dealers.

Chrysler and Dodge scaled down their presence in South Africa in the last few years. The only Dodge vehicles sold in the region in recent years was the Journey, while Chrysler’s 300C and Voyager were the only vehicles available from that nameplate, according to IOL.
However, for other brands by the automaker, Jeep will introduce the new Compass in South Africa in early 2018 and is slated to also launch the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, according to FCA Authority. Meanwhile, the automaker is also scheduled to launch of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio by the end of the year.
