WASHINGTON - Volvo Trucks North America is recalling more than 1,900 trucks because they may have labels containing misinformation that could lead to vehicle overloading, creating a safety risk.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Volvo trucks covered by the recall are MY 2008-2011 VHDs, MY 2008-2011 VNLs, MY 2008-2011 VNMs and MY 2008-2010 VTs.
Dealers will inspect the labels in question and replace any that contain misinformation. The safety recall is due to begin next month.
